Fighting for Montanas’ Rights

Reproductive Freedom:

Women have the constitutional right to make and carry out decisions for her pregnancy. These rights are protected by the Privacy clause of Montana's Constitution. I will work to maintain that right and keep the Government out of our bed rooms and doctors' offices.

Affordable Housing:

The influx of out-of-state billionaires and vacation homeowners have driven the cost of housing beyond the means of regular Montanans. We need to be more than a refuge for the wealthy. I will support tax incentives and tax credits that reward affordable housing construction and vacancy fees for second and third vacation homes.

Public Lands & Wildlife:

Montana's public lands provide valuable natural resources, irreplaceable quality habitat for fish and wildlife, and unlimited opportunities for recreationists. Our public lands must be maintained and kept in public ownership.

Public Education:

Public schools are the lifeblood of Montana com munities, and a quality education is a right protected by the Montana Constitution. Future edu cational decisions must remain local respecting both professional educators and elected school representatives.

Montana Constitution:

In my younger years I was blessed to assist with the crafting of Montana's Constitution, considered the best in America. Montanans have more con stitutional rights and protections than any citizen in America, including freedom from governmen tal intrusion into our private lives. I will protect our Constitution and preserve your constitutional rights and protections.
